Welcome to my website, where you will find everything you need to know about who I am, how I got my start, and what I am up to now. Ever since I was young, I have had a true love for the arts. I set out to be a talented Stage Actor and have not looked back, developing my skills in screen writing, singer songwriting, narration and managing bands. Biography
From the moment I started talking, I’ve been entertaining audiences of all sizes. From the couch of my mum's living room, to crowded audition stages, I have spent a long time making a name for myself; and there is no better time than now to do so. I am an incredibly passionate artist, who has been working in the industry since 2002, graduating from the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School working alongside remarkable actors such as Helen Mirren, Clive Owen to Matt Lucas and David Walliams as well as always creating my own new projects and continuously being inspired by other peoples.

2026 has already become one of the most significant years of my creative life.
For more than two decades I have worked across theatre, television, film and music, while continuing to create my own work. This year, many of those different strands have finally come together: an Arts Council England-supported autobiographical show produced by an award-winning theatre company, a professional UK tour, major screen projects, a nationwide cinema release, national recognition for my music and a growing international touring career.
And the year isn't over yet.
PIECES OF MY LIFE
Perhaps the most personal achievement of 2026 has been bringing my autobiographical one-man show Pieces of My Life fully to the stage.
Written and performed by me and produced by award-winning theatre company Ad Infinitum, the production was supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
Years of memories, journals, music and lived experience were shaped into a professional 55-minute theatre production exploring grief, race, class, family, identity, systemic racism, belonging, home and resilience.
The show places me back inside my mother's council flat following her death, recording the story of my life before the home in which so many of those memories were formed must finally be handed back.
At its heart is my mum: her humour, creativity, optimism and the influence she continues to have on my life.
PRODUCED BY AD INFINITUM
Pieces of My Life represents an important new chapter in my relationship with Ad Infinitum, where I am an Associate Artist.
This was not simply a venue presenting a piece of my work. Ad Infinitum produced the production, bringing together the creative and production team that transformed my autobiographical writing into a fully realised professional theatre show. Official touring listings describe it as:

The production was directed by Ad Infinitum co-artistic director Nir Paldi, alongside a creative team including sound designer and composer Dan Pollard and artists from across Bristol and beyond.
Speaking about the show before its premiere, Nir described it as:
“a vital, beautifully complex story.”
He also highlighted its mixture of difficult subject matter with my own humour, energy, music and love.
For me, working with an established award-winning company to bring such a personal piece of writing into professional production has been one of the defining creative developments of my career.
RETURNING TO TOBACCO FACTORY THEATRES
Pieces of My Life premiered at Tobacco Factory Theatres' Spielman Theatre in Bristol from 8–11 September 2026.
The venue has been part of my creative life for more than twenty years.
I first performed there shortly after leaving Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, playing Jim in Huckleberry Finn. I later returned in productions including A View from the Bridge and as Ross in Macbeth.
Returning with a piece I had written myself therefore felt like completing a circle.
As I said ahead of the premiere:
“It’s a Bristol story, shaped by the city, its communities and my own experiences growing up and building a life and career here.”
The Bristol run ended with a sold-out final performance before the production continued on tour.
THE REVIEWS
The critical response to Pieces of My Life has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.
Bristol24/7 described me as a:
“highly magnetic presence on stage.”
The review praised the combination of vulnerability, humour and Sharp Wit within the performance, describing the production itself as:
“a vital piece of homegrown storytelling.”
It concluded that the show had become an:
“honest, heart-wrenching, and ultimately triumphant testament”
to family, memory and finding your own voice.
Another Bristol24/7 feature described the show as an exploration of my grief following my mother's death and of growing up as a young Black man in Bristol, while highlighting its original music and Bristol-rooted creative team.
For something that began with journals and memories never intended for an audience, that response has been extraordinary.
TAKING PIECES OF MY LIFE ON TOUR
Following the Tobacco Factory premiere, Pieces of My Life moved beyond Bristol and began reaching audiences in very different spaces and communities.
The tour has included performances at venues including the Olivier Theatre at Bedales School, Valley Arts in Chew Valley and Front Room Theatre in Weston-super-Mare.
The Weston performance took place on 1 October, with Front Room Theatre describing the production as an autobiographical story of “love, loss and resilience.”
The next major date is Warwick Arts Centre on 22 October, where Pieces of My Life forms part of its season exploring the idea of HOME. The performance will also include BSL interpretation.
And then comes a particularly emotional milestone.

The October arts programme for the region lists Pieces of My Life at the Brewhouse as “music and storytelling from BOVTS alumnus” Kirris Riviere.
From the first rehearsals, through opening night in Bristol, the sold-out Tobacco Factory finale and a tour taking the story to audiences around England, reaching Taunton on 27 October will mark the end of an extraordinary first chapter for the production.
What happens to Pieces of My Life after that remains to be written.
ON SCREEN
BAD APPLES
2026 has also been a significant screen year.
I appear in Bad Apples, the dark comedy starring Saoirse Ronan, alongside a cast including Jacob Anderson, Rakie Ayola, Robert Emms and Sean Gilder.
After its international festival journey, the film received its UK cinema release in September 2026.
Being part of a major feature film filmed around Bristol, Bath and Somerset and then seeing the finished production reach cinema audiences around the country has been another milestone in an already remarkable year and guess what, all my lines where kept. yay!!
MOBLAND — SEASON TWO
Another major screen achievement has been joining the second series of Paramount's MobLand.
I play Roger in Season Two, adding another large-scale international television production to a screen career that has already included work such as The Sandman, Manhunt, NY-LON and Mount Pleasant.
Tobacco Factory Theatres highlighted both Bad Apples and my appearance in the second series of MobLand when profiling my career around the launch of Pieces of My Life.
Working on a production of that scale — from rehearsal through to filming — has been another reminder of how far the journey has travelled since leaving drama school.
FALLING
My screen work during this period has also included Falling, the ITV drama starring Keeley Hawes.
Together with Bad Apples and MobLand, it has helped make 2026 one of my busiest and most productive periods of screen work.
And while acting remains enormously important to me, increasingly it sits alongside another ambition: creating and developing my own stories for screen as well as stage.
KIRRIS RIVIERE & THE DELTA DU BRUIT
If theatre and screen weren't busy enough, 2026 has also become one of the biggest years yet for Kirris Riviere & The Delta du Bruit.
What began as a Bristol blues project has developed into a band with a growing national and international reputation.
UK BLUES AWARDS
One of the proudest musical achievements of the year was the band's recognition among the Top Five Emerging Artists at the 2026 UK Blues Awards, while I was also recognised within the wider contemporary blues field.
For a band built around a love of traditional blues, soul, improvisation, storytelling and live performance, reaching national recognition at this level has been enormously satisfying.
It followed several years of relentless gigging, recording and taking the music beyond Bristol.
FESTIVALS, TOURING AND EUROPE
2026 has seen the band continue playing extensively across Britain and Europe.
Our year has included UK festival appearances, an Irish tour and performances including BlueTone Festival, the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival in Colne, Swanage Blues Festival and numerous headline club shows.
The band's international story has also continued to grow.
And in November comes one of our largest European runs yet.
CZECH REPUBLIC TOUR — NOVEMBER 2026
In November 2026, Kirris Riviere & The Delta du Bruit head to the Czech Republic for a multi-city tour.
Public Czech listings currently confirm performances across the country between 4 and 14 November, demonstrating how far the band's reputation is now travelling beyond the UK.
Confirmed dates include:
4 November — Club Kino, Černošice
The venue introduces the group as a band emerging from Bristol's blues scene that has developed a reputation for its distinctive soulful blues sound and “electrifying” live performances.
8 November — Malá scéna / KZ, Valašské Meziříčí
Appearing as part of the venue's Jazz & Blues Days — Autumn 2026 programme.
11 November — Zelenáčova Šopa, Zlín
One of the country's established live music venues, presenting the band as the Kirris Riviere Blues Band.
12 November — Klub Teplo, Přerov
Part of Hudboslovení 2026, with the Czech promoter billing the show as “Blues from Bristol, UK.”
13 November — Klub Kotelna / KD Plzeňka, Beroun
The regional event listing describes the show as bringing a mixture of blues, soul and concert energy from Bristol to Beroun.
14 November — TepJazz, Teplice
The tour reaches TepJazz for a Saturday night performance, also listed nationally by Czech Television's cultural guide.
This Czech Republic run follows previous performances in countries including France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Ireland.
For a Bristol blues band to now be undertaking a dedicated multi-city Czech tour represents another major step forward.
THE BAND'S INTERNATIONAL REPUTATION
Interestingly, Czech promoters are already presenting the band not as an unknown visiting act, but through the reputation we have developed in Britain.
The Beroun listing describes the group as having built a strong UK reputation through its songwriting, musicianship and energetic performances, while Club Kino highlights our soulful blues sound and live presence.
The Czech publicity is also introducing audiences to a five-piece touring line-up featuring:

It feels like another important transition: from taking individual overseas bookings to building genuine international touring territory for the band.
VINYL, RECORDINGS AND WHAT COMES NEXT
The band's debut album has continued to find new audiences, including through physical releases on vinyl and CD.
Our Record Store Day 2026 transparent vinyl release was another important moment — giving a recording that began as an independent Bristol blues project a physical life of its own.
Meanwhile, new songs continue to develop.
The ambition now is not simply to keep performing the debut album, but to capture where the band has travelled since making it — both through new original material and future live recordings.
MEDIA, INTERVIEWS AND PUBLIC CONVERSATIONS
The story behind Pieces of My Life has also created opportunities to talk publicly about the work and about the experiences behind it.
The production has generated theatre coverage, interviews and radio conversations, including discussion around how my journals developed into a professional stage work.
What has felt particularly important is that increasingly I am being interviewed not simply as an actor appearing in somebody else's production, but as the writer and creator of my own work.
That represents a meaningful shift.
WRITING THE NEXT CHAPTER
Away from performance, 2026 has continued to be a year of writing and developing original work.
Alongside Pieces of My Life, I continue to develop projects across theatre, film, television, animation and children's storytelling.
These include the screenplays Colin White, Boycott and Columbo Balagoon, the animated children's project Toby the Crow, and Marcus and the Magical Guitar, developed with writer Rachel Delahaye.
Boycott, inspired by the Bristol Bus Boycott and its wider legacy, has also begun generating conversations around future development and industry introductions.
My ambition has never been simply to wait for somebody to cast me.
I want to create.
ACTOR. WRITER. MUSICIAN. STORYTELLER.
Perhaps that is what 2026 ultimately represents.
For years I have moved between acting, writing and music.
Sometimes those different parts of my creative life felt separate.
This year they haven't.
I wrote an autobiographical play.
Ad Infinitum produced it.
Arts Council England supported it.
I performed it professionally.
The Bristol run sold out.
It received critical acclaim.
It toured.
The tour reaches Warwick Arts Centre and concludes at the Brewhouse in Taunton on 27 October.
My band became one of the UK's recognised emerging blues acts.
We toured Britain and Europe.
And in November we embark upon a multi-city Czech Republic tour.
A major feature film I appeared in reached cinemas nationwide.
I joined the cast of a major Paramount television series.
And throughout all of it, new writing and new projects continued to develop.
As I said ahead of the premiere of Pieces of My Life:
“I want to build on a creative career that allows me to move freely between acting, writing, music and storytelling.”
2026 feels like the year that sentence stopped being an ambition and started becoming a reality.
From an Arts Council-supported autobiographical play produced by Ad Infinitum, to national screen work, critical recognition and a band now travelling across Europe, the various parts of my creative life are no longer separate journeys.
They are becoming one career.
And there is still more to come.

Voice of Tricky
Kirris Riviere is the voice of Tricky in his new autobiography. Tricky examines how his creativity has helped him find a different path to that of his relatives, some of whom were bare-knuckle fighters and gangsters, and how his mother's suicide has had a lifelong effect on him, both creatively and psychologically. With his unique heritage and experience, his story will be one of the most talked-about music autobiographies of the decade.

Tabb.cc is a dynamic platform that brings together film and TV freelancers to collaborate and produce compelling content. I had the privilege of delivering a talk at one of their exciting events. I highly recommend aspiring and seasoned professionals to join this vibrant community.

I'll sleep when I'm dead' was the first character I played fresh from drama school, a burly man with a big temper which was nothing like me, so because of that I fell in love with the character straight away; Big John' This was a prominent role for me and I learned so much featuring alongside Clive Owen as one of his main heavies.
The R.S.C in 'Comedy of errors' was an incredible moment; the fact I was concurrently at the Royal Shakespeare Company performing on stage. That was one of my biggest achievements, I then went back to TV work in the TV Series 'Above Suspicion' as a Lawyer.
One of my biggest TV opportunities so far was appearing in the series 'Nylon' as a regular character, It was there I learnt how to sound American authentically, learning where to place yourself on camera and internalize thoughts and feelings to impact my presence on TV and the big screen, from all the work I have done I discovered the industry is full of wonderful creative people on and off camera and People who actually want you to succeed in the audition room.
The crown in glory for me so far was appearing in a feature film 'Red 2' alongside Helen Mirren, I can honestly say she was one of the nicest people I ever had the opportunity to work with, I was thrilled to the marrow to had been asked to read in for the character of Ross in Macbeth and was asked to step in last minute to play the character of Ross, after that I once again performed at the tobacco factory in “A view from the bridge.
My most recent work was acting in ITV's A Confession starring Martin Freeman and landed my first audio book as the voice of legendary artist Tricky for his autobiography.
Lead role in an up and coming independent film called Talia.
Playing Adonai one of the serial killers in Netflix's/ DC Comic's Warner Bro's The Sandman. Just landed a feature film that'll be out next year, 2025.
As well as creating and being involved in many different projects, the futures most definitely looking bright.
